Collaboration with the Niigata Rehabilitation Hospital

The Niigata Rehabilitation Hospital, has been established with the intention of providing rehabilitation services in the region. It is a complex institution that focuses on recovery period rehabilitation and combines the functions of fall prevention and sports rehabilitation, day care rehabilitation for home support, and home call rehabilitation. We believe that a trusting relationship between patients and the hospital staff is of the utmost importance in giving patients the peace of mind they need to concentrate on their treatment.
For this reason our hospital staff vow to uphold our basic concept, i.e. "to develop a hospital that is loved and trusted by everyone". We strive to provide the finest medical care so that each and every one of our patients can once again lead a healthy and active life. We are confident that our staff, who are involved in a wide range of patient-centered medical occupations, make full use of their different types of professional experiences to develop a medical team that provides satisfactory services.

Basic hospital policy

1. The mission of our hospital is to enhance the quality of life (QOL) of our patients and to support their holistic rehabilitation so that they can live active lives as members of the community.
2. The hospital functions as the principal teaching hospital for the Niigata University of Health and Welfare. We foster advanced specialized knowledge that combines the overall perspective of medical care, welfare and health maintenance with warm human compassion. We also promote clinical research in this area.
3. The hospital includes the functions of a comprehensive rehabilitation center for the Niigata region. While contributing to the improvement of medical care, health maintenance and welfare in the local community, we also take an interest in international exchange.
