研究領域過去の人々の生活環境と生活史の解明、ユーラシア東部における更新世人類の環境適応の解明
研究紹介

遺跡から出土した人骨のミクロ構造や病変の痕跡を調べることで、過去の人々の生活を解明しようとしています。また、日本列島や東南アジア大陸部の旧石器時代の洞穴遺跡を調査して、更新世の人類の化石や、その人類が狩猟した動物の化石を探しています。
