業績等

研究領域運動と感覚(体性感覚)に関する神経生理学的研究
研究紹介人がスムーズな動作を遂行するために必要な大脳皮質活動について、神経生理学的手法を利用して研究しています。
例えば、簡単な運動を行った際の大脳皮質の活動や、触覚刺激などを与えられた際の大脳皮質の活動をミリ秒単位で詳細に解析し、大脳のどの部位がどのようなタイミングで活動しているのかを研究しています。また、様々な外的刺激(電気刺激や磁気刺激、触覚刺激など)を与えることにより、大脳皮質の興奮性を変調させ、運動制御や運動学習に応用するための研究をしています。
